We were very excited recently when our production company covered The Great Crystal Fair that happens 6 times a year in San Francisco and in Contra Costa our first video production in the bay area.
As always when in San Francisco, this event was held at the Fort Mason, set between the beautiful Marina Green and the Maritime Historical Park. Wherever you look, there’s a fabulous view of the ocean, the mountains, the bridge or the city.
It’s a thriving part of San Francisco, with lots of things happening. On the same weekend as The Great Crystal Fair, the spring orchid show was in full swing just a few doors down.
We had an early start to capture San Francisco waking up and the setting up of the fair. Lots of banter as the stalls were erected and laden with sparkling gems, incredible rock crystal formations, feathers, jewelry, magic potions, metal skulls and other goodies. Everyone caught their breath before the first visitors arrived and then it was nonstop for the rest of the day.
Thanks to the fair’s convener, Jerry Tomlinson, and all the people at the fair for their help in making Ideas at Work Video’s first video production in the Bay Area a success.
Since then, Jerry has reported an 8 percent increase in attendance at his most recent show.
